Wood is omnipresent in an Islamic/Moorish house. It can be seen almost everywhere, especially in ceilings, dooms, windows and doors as well as all types of furniture such as tables and cabinets. Musharabiya is a special style of wood decoration; it is mostly used to break the light that comes in through the windows and balconies or to preserve privacy. We offer two main ornamental styles on wood in addition to Musharabiya; namely, carved and the painted.
